45 Receive His Mantle

46 Well, there is another one who went up! The Scripture says that as Jesus stood and spoke to His disciples He began to rise and ascend into heaven, and they stood there gazing up. Do you want the mantle of His glory? 47 As Jesus ascended up and went up into heaven He said, "Listen you guys, you'd better hang around if you want to catch the mantle. You'd better keep your eyes on Me if you want to catch the mantle." 48 They came together in that Upper Room, and they began to praise and worship, and they kept their eyes on Him.

After ten days they heard something come fluttering down. It came fluttering down in flaming tongues of fire and it rested on them. What happened? They caught the mantle. 49 Do you want the glory of the Lord? Do you want the mantle of His power? He is Christ, He is the anointed one, and He said, "The works that I do you shall do, and greater works than these shall you do, because I go to my Father. When I go to My Father I'm sending my mantle down on all of you. But wait for it. Go and wait for it!"

50 Do Like Jesus Did

51 Where does it come from? It comes from Jesus. Do you want to get the glory; do you want to get the power; do you want to get the anointing? Look up to Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him. Worship and praise Him, and the Spirit of God says you will be transformed into the same image, from glory to glory. His mantle will come down on you; His glory will come down on you; His power will be manifest on you. The external anointing will come upon you.

52 You will know His power and you will pick up His mantle like Elisha picked up the mantle of Elijah, and went out and stood by the River Jordan and said, "Where is the God of Elijah?" Then he hit the water and it parted. 53 You will do like Jesus. That is what the disciples did. They took the mantle of His glory and they went out and acted just like Him. And do you know what? Demons recognized it; sickness and disease recognized it; death recognized it.

54 Do you want to get the glory, do you want to get the power, do you want to get the anointing? Keep your eyes fixed on Him. As you lift your eyes up and you see Jesus high and lifted up, seated on the right hand of the Father, you will get a vision like Isaiah. You will see His glory and you will feel vile, and you will fall to your knees and repent. You will humble yourself before Him, and you will feel unworthy before Him. 55 Then He will take off those filthy robes that you have on, the garment of sin that you have, and He will put His mantle on you. He will put His robe of righteousness on you. He will put His glory in you and His power on you. Then you will go out and act just like Him.
